Local Publisher Launches Online Business and Supports Literacy for Children

SpiceBox Products Ltd, a Vancouver-based publisher of novelty books and kits, launches online storefront, www.SpiceBoxBooks.com. SpiceBox, established in 2004, has considerable success in North America through large retail chains, producing a varied and extensive list of unique and exciting kits and books.   With a titles ranging from early learning products and books, arts and crafts kits for kids as well as fine art, gift sets, and craft kits for adults, SpiceBox will be launching their ecommerce site September 15 2011.  To celebrate, the Company will make 100 donations to match the first 100 purchases.   Donations of books and supplies will be made to local foundations that serve underprivileged children in the Greater Vancouver region.   The South Burnaby Neighborhood House is just one of the local foundations that will receive these donations. 

“One of our corporate missions is to give back by providing learning products to underprivileged children, both in our own community, and globally.” explains Ben Lotfi, President and Publisher of SpiceBox.   Ben has been supporting the Rotary programs of Burnaby for almost 10 years now, through SpiceBox’s sister company, Select Books Ltd, by supplying books to children at local elementary schools, and sending books to school boards and associations who distribute to children of parents, who could not otherwise afford them.  SpiceBox is ready to build on this commitment to ensure that children in the area have a chance to own books and supplies that would otherwise be out of their financial reach.

SpiceBox’s kits and books are designed and developed  to nurture talent and imagination  through hands-on play and learning.
